Legion Pulp: Heat of Battle

Another short story from the master of French Foreign Legion Pulp stories–Georges Surdez.  This time the legionnaires are fighting the Turks in the Dardanelles.

I cannot imagine how much fiction might be out there, somewhere, lying unread, in some boxed collection, in a dank basement, collecting dust or filed on plastic sheets, in miniature form,  in a microfiche file cabinet in some obscure library outside of Buffalo, NY.  Georges Surdez wrote hundreds of stories.  I only have a handful and the ones I post on this Blog come from digitized Argosy Magazines posted on obscure news groups.  Thank you so much to the anonymous up-loader for making these magazines available.
