Berber Style House Reference Pictures

In researching Moroccan style buildings, houses, and architecture in general, I collected several dozen pictures (borrowed from the internet of course) of the unique buildings and small villages found in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Algeria.  Rustic would be an understatement.  These are no desert Kasbahs or oasis palaces for the Sultan.  It is said that rough terrain produces rough people. This rough country is inhabited by the Berber tribes–who produced some of the toughest fighters the Foreign Legion has ever faced.   Lots of fighting occurred in these hills and often if it didn’t involve the Legion it was tribe against tribe or against the Sultan’s effete Moorish troops who had the unlucky task of collecting taxes and tribute from the hidden valleys in the Atlas mountains.  So, for any one else who might be interested I posted these pictures in .pdf as a reference to use if you ever build any Berber style terrain.  File is 7.8 MB.
