Legion Pulp: The Blood Call

Attached below is a short story of the Legion that takes place between the wars.  It’s the kind of story that the Foreign Legion setting is perfect for–previous lives and encounters long thought forgotten until one fateful day…and honor and respect for a former enemy as only fighting men can have.  It is a nice quick read.  It appeared in Argosy Weekly, 30 September, 1939 and was written by the “master” of Foreign Legion fiction–Georges Surdez.
