Here are seven Foreign Legion pin-up girls created by Legion artist extraordinaire Evguenii Ponomarev. If the illustration style looks familiar it’s because the highly prolific artist has been a regular painter of military and particularly Foreign Legion subjects for over 20 years. He is one of the primary illustrators for the Legion and was the artist who worked on the Hachette series of Foreign Legion Collectible folios and miniatures (Soldats de la Légion Etrangère). You can see more pin-ups in his online gallery. The header image might also be by Ponomarev but I’m not sure.
